"We loved our stay at the old manor house. It is a beautiful and peaceful country setting. We enjoyed the friendly farm animals (dogs and cats). Dario was a very responsive host and helped us graciously with anything. He even provided a tour of his winery for us which we found very interesting. If you are looking for a peaceful country get away then this is the perfect place. It has plenty of outdoor space and fun for a family."

"The town of Guiglia is great for anyone wants to explore Emilia Romagna by car but avoid actually staying in the larger towns of Modena or Bologna. We had a variety of experiences in Castelvetro, Modena, and other surrounding towns, and all were fairly easy to access from Guiglia. "What a great spot! It was great to have lots of space for our family ( parents teens 15 and 18). It was under 20 minutes to walk to the Piazza Maggiorre, but nicely quiet at our end of San Felice. Be aware that the nearest parking is not open on weekends, but there are many options. Francesca was lovely and helpful. "

"We visited Bologna for a couple of days, and this home was a lovely spot to stay at. It is near the airport but there is very little noise. Driving past the roundabout for the airport can be a little daunting, but no more than driving elsewhere in Italy! The house is beautifully decorated with art from the owners travels around the world and the home itself is very serene. The owner was extremely helpful and we enjoyed our visit very much."
