"This property is amazing! It reminds me of something out of a fairy tale. Our room was unique and beautifully decorated. The staff was exceptional. She told us about the history of the property, showed us to our room and made our dinner reservations at a wonderful local restaurant. And then there was breakfast, which was just fabulous. "A very old and tired hotel. Room had not been aired for a long time so smelled damp and musty - I had to open the window as soon as I entered the room. Old furniture, old and dilapidated bathroom / shower. Span and gym not available. Swimming pool available but costs €18 for a swim! I dont expect to pay as a guest of the hotel. Breakfast OK - coffee cold."

"This Quinta exceeded our expectations. It is situated in a rural and beautiful area. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance. There’s also a much larger town not too far from the Quinta, called Penafiel. The villa where we stayed had a breathtaking view of both the vineyard and river.
