"We frequently stay in holiday properties and so know what you can get for £140 / night and sadly this was not up to the standards we would expect. The cottage is lovely, in a lovely sertting but it is very damp with mould around the windows and mildew on the curtains. It was not clean, the tiles in the bathroom were mouldy, under the furniture were dead woodlouse and other remnants of insects, cobwebs everywhere and the lavatory off the main bedroom was very poorly cleaned. "Used this home as a base for a weekend in the Peak District, with 5 other couples. The building is stunning, kitchen is well stocked with appliances and other items. 2 fridge/freezers which were handy. Lots of spaces to relax and the hot tub was fantastic. WiFi is poor in wider areas of the house but excellent within the room of the house the modem is in. However, this is expected in a building of this size and didn’t ruin the weekend at all. "We booked this property for a family of 12 as it was close to a family wedding at Chester zoo. The property offers everything, it's spacious, clean and even has a games room to keep the kids entertained. The rooms were good sizes with bathrooms of each of the 3 floors. We also visited blue planet aquarium and Cheshire oaks which were only 20 minutes drive and tried out the local pubs which were good and had an Indian at indivala which was amazing. I highly recommend staying at this property."

"Very good location for 6-10 mile hikes with wonderfully far reaching views on a clear day,The house was fine however would benefit from having more mugs and glasses, also its own heating controls. Very helpful owners live in one end of the building "
