My kids were able to see agouti, coati, and all sorts of birds from our balcony in the mornings and the staff was very friendly and enthusiastic about teaching them about the animals. One of the restaurants had a great little nature walk below the terrace so the kids had a great time running around while we waited for the food, which was also delicious. The hotel was well located so most of the things we wanted to do in Monteverde were a short drive or even walkable. Would stay here again!"

"Just a quick walk from Santa Elena proper. Parking was a challenge, having 3 separate parking locations (and the very steep uphill didn't help, but no fault of the property). Great service, but the transport for the tour I booked never arrived."
