"We have a fantastic time at Casa EmCanto we were a family group with children aged 6 months to 10years. The facilities were amazing and enabled a really relaxing hoilday for us all. "Loved my charming Quinta do Guerra experience. The house is large, comfortable and sparkling clean. The kitchen is very well outfitted. The house is made for outdoor living with multiple lounging areas, beautiful views, the sound of the wind through the pine trees and of course the pool and hot tub. An abundance of pillows and blankets invite one to take a breath and relax. The host is super helpful, professional and responsive to questions. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the home of Jos! The house was located close to cafe's and attractions in Penela. The house is very well stocked with utensils, small appliances and anything you could need to feel at home. The house was clean and the back yard area was pleasant to sit out and view the mountain. The house was more than affordable! Jos even checked on us twice to make sure everything was ok. Thank you for letting us stay."

"This was the most relaxing stay! We were deep in the countryside in our own stone village with great amenities and fresh bread, fruit, cheese, jam and honey for our kitchen every day. No restaurant on site or in walking distance but it was fun and challenging diving around exploring the region on back roads to get to the each town with its castle and church. "

"House was beautiful, great location, communication with the company/owner was perfect. The only thing they may improve is the check-in hours: too restrictive only till 7, although they offered their help for late check-in. I'd get back to this house without hesitation."

Exceptional!

"As a frequent traveller I rarely find a property like the CBR Boutique that does just about everything right. I was in Coimbra for 3 nights and the staff was amazing! After checking in we were taken to the room so that we could be given a tour which was a great touch. The room we were in was beautiful with power black out blinds and one of the most comfortable beds I have ever had in a hotel stay with memory foam pillows too. Nice seating areas and extremely quiet. There were many other nice touches like sweets, coffee and tea in their breakfast room after breakfast hours and many tips about the city from the staff. The room also included a really nice breakfast buffet with very welcoming and pleasant staff. I wish I could have added on another night to my 3 night stay. When I go back to Coimbra this will be my "go to" hotel. I highly recommend it! "
