"The unit we had was on the 3rd floor but since the elevator was temporarily out of service, Andre, the manager carried our bags up for us. He was most accommodating. He hand the night assistant, Phillipe is also very helpful. Lots of restaurants within walking distance and there is free parking at the Convento Sao Francisco is a short 5 min walk away and it is open from 7am to Midnight so we parked our car there and either walked or took cabs to any place we wanted. "Safe, walkable, and very close to everything I wanted to walk to. The property sent me a code to enter the bldg the day before my arrival. I arrived at 1:30pm or so, and since my room was almost ready I was given the option to wait in the kitchen, which I did. Therevis no lift and my room was on the 2nd floor but staff always offered me a hand with my bag. Room was minimal but sufficient and efficient. AC worked and wifi worked. "The apartment made us experience the life in the old city which was nice. But the place was not as shown on the reservation site (the bedroom was not made of stonewalls). "The house has a good location, close to the beach and to the city, with all services and shops near. We went by bus from Lisbon to Mira and got an taxi to the house. The accommodations are very nice. We had just a problem with clogging of toilets, but the owner went there on next day with products for us to use on it. The thermoaccumulator size is not enough for 12 people to take shower straight, so we had to organize turns for it along the day. In general we liked a lot to stay on the house."

"This was a terrific place to stay. The apartment was clean and spacious with a full kitchen and washing machine. Check in was at a nearby hotel with a parking garage just across the street. It was not a problem for us but there is no elevator to the apartment. The climb up about 30 stairs was worth the view of the main walking area from the apartment. "
