"Beautiful, peaceful, interesting, and lovely location and property. Lots of birds and deer. Nice trails. Cabin was quiet, quaint, and private. Visitor Center staff were kind, engaged, and knowledable. Neat displays and information. Enjoyed learning about Norwegian heritage and history. Property manager provided great communication. Signage to property was also helpful. I had a wonderful stay and will definitely visit again."

"Stayed here to go fishing on the river for a few days, it was nice being able to walk down to our boat and not have to launch it every day. The Bar right next door also said we could tie our boat onto their dock if we wanted. Only downsides are the bar restaurantcan be loud at night since its so close to it, also the train going by accross the river wakes you up every hour with its loud horn but thats pretty much everywhere in trempealeau id guess, "

"We met for a family weekend in BRF. The house had plenty of space, comfy furniture and accommodations for our group of 9. Was even better because we could include our family dogs! Enjoyed the decks and pool table/ping pong table! Highly recommend for a big group!"

"The check in process was a breeze! And we had a cute little dog that greeted us and came up to the cabin with us. A few ear scratches and he headed back down. The cabin is in a great location, very private. The cabin was very clean! The bed was very comfortable and the linens were very soft.The internet was not the greatest but you don’t need it with such a beautiful view. I would highly recommend staying here! "

"This property was everything as stated and so much more. Clean, quiet and the views of the valley below were outstanding. To bad the old legs could not handle the hiking trails, but they looked awesome too."

"We had the pleasure of getting a little snow during our stay which was awesome.But the roads from the cabin were sloppy with the melt the following day and we had trouble getting out to go for a grocery run. Kirsty and Kyle were very helpful and were kind enough to bring us some coffee and flour. Really great folks and a very beautiful and private location. Great space to reset from reality. Highly recommend."

"Excellent property with very relaxing vibe."

"The property is exactly how it looks in the pictures! A quaint and quiet little spot to unwind and relax. Drop a bobber at 6am while drinking coffee and watch the sunrise while breathing the serenity. It is the perfect size for a family of four and one 140lb (well behaved) dog. The owners thought of everything and provided more than we expected!"

"The location is awesome. It is very peaceful and just a short drive to Sparta. The decor is spot on for the setting. The bed is very comfortable. The host answered all of our questions in a timely manner. We will rent again if ever in the area."

"We stayed at a wonderful Vrbo right on the river. It was a beautiful 3 bedroom flat with a 4 season room and a large deck. It had a stairway down to a fishing pier. We got there and it was 80 degrees. Beautiful fishing weather. We caught some walleye and perch. The next day the weather was horrrible. We couldn’t fish much but enjoyed the rental immensely. It is great for fishing, relaxing and so much more!! "
