"My adult children and I had a wonderful stay at Vista Colina. The home is in a peaceful rural area with gorgeous views in every direction. Jeff & Judith made every effort to make us feel welcome, and we thoroughly enjoyed the home with its very clean and spacious areas, and lovely yard with the pool. "This new renovated property was lovely for a four day stay. There is lots of room indoors as well as outside for the kids. We enjoyed the fire in the lounge and were glad of the blankets and radiators in the bedrooms which made a cozy stay when the weather wasn’t very good. We had good day trips to Tomar, Fatima and Batalha. We would come back again in the summer to make good use of the pool and veranda."

"This is a lovely, older home with a gorgeous view of the Monastery. It is a very short walk into the town (although down a very, very steep hill) where you can get coffee and fresh bread. The pool in the backyard was the perfect place to cool down in after an adventure to Nazaré (15-20 minute drive) or other Portugal sights. "Our stay in Batalha could have started out poorly as William notified us the night before our arrival that our reservation had not recorded properly, and there was no availability for our first night. He quickly made the situation right by finding us a great hotel in town for the first night. Olive Hill is as nice as it looks in the photos, and clearly William is cut out for his second career in hospitality. We’d definitely stay there again."
