Ideally located for walking into the beautiful town or along the river with great views of the castle from the terrace. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and had that bit of character that we had hoped for with large windows and decor. Tomar is a little off the usual tourist trail (except day trippers to the castle) and hence great value for money.

Great location for the historic old town. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a good continental breakfast, with ample options and our room was well maintained, with an excellent shower and no shortage of hot water. I definitely would recommend this hotel. There was nothing not to like about it.

This hotel was 1 of the better ones we stayed at on our trip, it was not the most expensive. Our room was a bit small by North American standards but it was in very good condition and clean with a nice bathroom. Breakfast was buffet style with an excellent selection. There’s a port and pastry happy hour in the late afternoon. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking is in 2 free city lots where you compete with locals so the closest lot may not be immediately available. We moved our vehicle when the locals started leaving work. There’s a rooftop patio with an excellent view of the castle and an honor bar. The castle is a fair walk away or you can drive. We walked 2x and enjoyed it. Restaurants are easily available in the downtown area.

Fabulous views of castle from room 305, which has a little Juliette balcony. There’s also a rooftop honesty bar on 2nd floor well set up with good number of seating options either covered or in the sun. Nice self serve breakfast too. Great location walkable to town and restaurants. Free Parking is available very close to hotel..
