"Stay was convenient. Although i did try to contact staff by email and phone i had no luck. But i also didnt book directly with the hostel so its not their fault either. Luckily there was somoene willing to help get in contact with staff. Bedding was comfortable enough, room was provided with air conditioning. But all in all its totally fine for a short stay. Right next to family mart and easy self check in ~ bonus!! "

"Check in was a little sketchy, I struggled to find the right door at first and keypad. And when I got into my room, I didn't realize the door would lock behind me when I left. I closed the door to go to the bathroom downstairs and luckily I had my phone on me with my code, but if I had locked my phone in my room without my code I would've been in a really bad spot since there is no receptionist or on-site staff. "広大な敷地にある素敵な日本庭園と藁ぶき屋根の母屋がとても印象的です。 わずか１１室のみですので、静かにのんびりと過ごせます。 チェックインをするためだけの空間など、少しもったいない感じがありました。 思いっきり和の空間ですが、お食事はフレンチ。美味しかったですが、なんとなく和食の方がしっくりくる感じがします。上諏訪は酒蔵も多いですし、地酒とともに味わう和食というのも魅力的だと思います。外国人の姿もちらほら見かけましたので、和食も食べられるとポイント高いと思います。 スタッフの方は皆さんにこやかで、優しくとても心地よい時間を過ごすことが出来ました。"

"This is the WORST hotel I’ve ever been to 1. We were not able to get in to the hotel !!!! One day we came back to the hotel at 13:30 in the afternoon, THE FRONT DOOR WAS LOCKED and no one was at the front desk. Basically that morning, my friends and I had a sports competition near the hotel, we therefore came back for shower before heading out again. But then, the door was locked and WE COULDN’T GET IN !!! There is a kitchen and washing machine with dryer, which are suitable for long stays. 30 mins drive from Karuizawa Station.
