"Had a slight issue finding the it as the signage outside is for a restaurant/bar. Once we did find it, parking was easy, instructions to get into room simple to follow. We had the ‘studio’ room. "We had booked three rooms. Our room nothing worked. It was a very cold night and walking up the stairs to the room you could feel it blowing a gale. There was a radiator in the room that was luke warm with the valve fully opened. There were another three plug in heaters around the room, none of which worked and an electric towel rail which was switched on but no heat, the bathroom was freezing. I asked who I believe to be the manager if he could check the fuse and try and get heaters working....

"We stayed here while visiting friends in the area. It has a really great history and was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was really robust and we enjoyed it each morning we stayed. The Bar staff was super friendly and we loved the free drink tickets offered at check in. All in all, I thought this was a lovely hotel. It's a bit of a walk to the train station but ubers were really easy to get. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a good value in the area. "
