"I give this 4 stars and not 5 for only a single reason. The description is missing two key points of info. 1. This is a basement for rent and not a full house. People do live just up the stairs. 2. There is not a kitchen if you’re thinking of cooking. Only a mini fridge and a microwave with a small sink. That worked for me for my trip, but was unexpected when we arrived and could have been a planning issue. The owner was responsive and a great guy. Would recommend genuinely for a quiet stay. "

"This house was perfect for our 20-year friend reunion! As the reviews say, the path up to the house is up a windy, one lane road, but we knew ahead of time and rented cars. But, the path up to the house makes the views worth it! Some of our crew even saw a bear on the way up. And, the house had many amenities to keep our crew of 11 entertained for hours. I had lots of questions leading up to our trip about the house and Julia was super gracious and responded very quickly. 100% would rebook here...

Once we were in touch with the actual property manager, things went very smoothly. This house has a minimum 30 day stay. Housekeeping came once and did a minimal clean."

"This was our 3rd visit in as many years and it never disappoints. The cabin is private but close to the many offerings of Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Every year there is something that has been thoughtfully improved (a new seating area, blinds, pots and pans, etc.) proving that their guest experience is top of mind.
