"The Hyatt Centric is perfectly located walking distance between Beale St and the Mississippi River. The room was clean and exactly as advertised. If you’re looking to dine out and explore there are a lot of nice restaurants walking distance, no need to drive. If you don’t want to go out, the hotel has dining options too! Staff is great, Jesus was exceptional during check in, warm and friendly, service like that is a reason to come back! Thank you Hyatt for a perfect NYE evening. "

"I have stayed at this hotel multiple times. It is the perfect location if Beale street is YOUR destination. It is one of the few hotels I have stayed in ( within recent years) that still have balconies. The room was spacious. The balcony was sizeable.The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good and included hot oatmeal, not oatmeal packets. The hotel provided ear plugs . For some people , it may be too loud. For us, we came for the music! Even so, I did not find the hotel loud. When ever I come to Memphis, this is where I will stay. ( as long as they still have balconies) "
