"Great find, food was very nice Staff were lovely and very helpful. Restaurant was busy so must have a good local reputation. Sat in bar after meal on some lovely leather sofas with a beer chatting with other residents. Bed was very comfortable and slept well. Breakfast great- perfect fuel for a day of hiking. We will be back the staff were so nice and welcoming Thank you"

"Stayed 2 nights in Feb. Very comfortable bed and well presented room. The Inn itself was quiet and so lacked a little atmosphere but then it was mid-week. The food was excellent, I especially liked the salmon and the mushroom risotto was splendid. We would have eaten there again on the second night but the vegetarian options were limited. I'm sure the chef would have come up with something suitable but we wanted to explore other eating options locally anyway. Breakfast was plentiful and the bar...

"Great location. Friendly landlord offering tips on best places for walks etc. Good breakfast. Room quite cosy but bathroom could do with an update and better window insulation."

"Stop over on my 3 day hike. Although no food served Sunday evening I was allowed to order in a takeaway curry to eat in my room and avoid a 15 minute walk outvthen back. The breakfast scrambled eggs were excellent too."
