"The Bushel staff were so friendly and helpful and allowed us a slightly earlier check-in to attend my daughter's wedding. The location of the hotel was perfect in the centre of Bury St Edmunds with the addition of free parking. The breakfast was good and the portions excellent. We had drinks at the bar & all the staff we dealt with were great. Thank you for providing a very comfortable stay in Bury St Edmunds."

"We stayed on Sunday evening and arrived to a warm and cosy atmosphere. Our room had every we needed. It was quiet and all we could hear was bird song. We had that evening in the restaurant and the food was delicious. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The beef roast was amazing. We stayed for breakfast on Monday morning and the selection and quality was excellent. We had a lovely stay and would stsy again, thank you. "

"We had a lovely 1 night stay at this quirky place before popping into Cambridge the next day. We stayed in the superior studio with a great double bath and view of the horses next door. We did have trouble getting some of the TV channels to work, the plumbing noises from other rooms was quite noisy and did disturb our sleep. Not sure if it was people having late showers or a washing machine somewhere. And we wanted to play darts downstairs but they were all broken. However... The food was...

"Loved the place. It was right next door to Oxburgh Hall where we wanted to visit. The weather was perfect. Couldn't have asked for a better location. Staff were attentive and the breakfast was probably the best we've had. Couldn't finish it all. It was very tasty. The only criticism we have and it's something that would take very little to rectify was the housekeeping side of things. Noticed a few cobwebs hanging from the ceiling as well as cobwebs in thee radiator. The area at the back of the...
