"The Stables is a charming and spacious property. We were thrilled to find it beautifully decorated for Christmas and an amazing basket of goodies/treats that we enjoyed throughout our stay. We were disappointed to find many of the light bulbs burned out or nonfunctional, leaving no lighting in the main hallway. Host was very welcoming and flexible about check in.Great kitchen space with a good range of cooking pots and pans.Ely is within walking distance with a lovely market a couple of days per week: some great local produce.The cathedral was lovely and with a short walk to the riverside. "Lovely property with a quirky mix of old style charm and modern facilities. Spotlessly clean and plenty of spare linens supplied. "This is a lovely, spacious and well-appointed house. It was too hot to make best use of the duvets, but the beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of crockery and cutlery - and a dishwasher to avoid the washing up. The powered recliners were especially welcome after a day of much walking. Naturally there is quite a lot of farm activity in the area, but it was far enough away not to be intrusive, and the people on the farm were very friendly and welcoming. Definitely a property to remember."

"A short relaxing break. Barn was well equipped and comfortable. Weather was a bit disappointing so never got to sit outside on the smart patio. The grounds exceeded our expectations and enjoyed the private space. "

"We absolutely loved our stay at The Green! The cottage is beautiful with its thatched roof, ceiling beams and big fireplace. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything you might need & a lovely private garden to enjoy the summer evenings. Communication with Tracy was excellent. She made sure we had everything we needed and provided some brilliant personalised recommendations for things to do/happening in the local area. "An interesting mix of comfortable, quaint, shabby chic and just plain shabby makes this cottage challenging to review! Overall, I was disappointed and felt that getting a few minor repairs done and providing better quality towels and bed linen would have made all the difference. On the plus side, it’s in a pretty village very near to the National Trust property of Oxborough Hall and has plenty of space for a couple or a small family, including a small garden. I stayed in March during a cold...

"Really nice cottage style property with a log burner and really comfy beds. Only warning would be the stairs as they're pretty steep and the bathroom is downstairs if you need to get up in the middle of the night."

"We booked for weekend , we dont live to far away it was a break. Really nice stay for family or couples, we are looking to book with friends next time. Lovely village pub down the road its really nice"
