"Lovely Georgian property, opposite the beach. Clean moden room. We were lucky and had a sea veiw and small balcony, which was a lovely bonus. Shower powerful and hot. There are plenty of sockets for devices. Free wifi and an android TV in the room. Wonderful, friendly service, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back. "

"Stayed here after my original hotel was apparently overbooked. Right on the Esplanade as the name suggests, this guest house is a 10 minute walk to the town centre and around a 5 minute walk to the train station. My room, (Room 7) was a large room with a king bed and a sea view. The whole property seems to have been refurbished fairly recently. "As a single traveller I had a single room overlooking the beach which, surprisingly, was not on the top floor. It was small, but so am I, so I found it quite adequate for my needs. Everything was clean and tidy. The bed has to be amongst the most comfortable that I have ever slept in. I slept like a top. Shared toilet and shower, which overlooked the harbour, but did not see any sign of anyone else using, The shower was good and extremely easy to use but I only had it set on a low setting,...
