"Although we had a little bump in the check-in process, we ended up having a wonderful stay. You can walk to most of the tourist attractions or the central station is right across the street for easy public transportation access. The staff at this hotel goes above and beyond to take care of your needs and address any issues. The breakfast buffet is also very delicious. I will definitely stay here again."

"Perfect location!! Everything is so convienent to get to and lots of shops and restaurants around. Beds are super comfy and the hotel is clean. The stairs are not steep like traditional Dutch/European stairs. There is a elevator so thats nice on check in/out days. The key policy is something we actually quite liked as it gave us a lot of peace and mind that the keys were safe and we didn't have a chance to lose it on our days out. We never had issues with having no one at the desk, there was always someone there or not too far away so we could grab our key to return to our room. There currently is construction out front and along the road however, we didn't find it inconvienent or noisy even though our room was facing the construction. Service has been great here with the morning and evening staff. Highly recommend staying in this historical hotel - one of our best stays so far."

"The property itself is lovely, staff are very welcoming and helpful and our room was amazing. We stayed in a Panoramic spa wellness room and used all the facilities it had to offer every evening after a long day. The only downside for us was that our view wasn’t very good as there was building works happening to the right of the hotel that we were unaware of when we booked. Couldn’t really have the balcony door open as it was pretty loud. Not much that the hotel can do about that but would’ve been nice to know in advance that this was happening as it seems it will be going on for some time to come. It didn’t ruin our stay but just be aware."

"We had a fabulous stay at Van der Valk hotel. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The facilities were outstanding especially the spa. The room was spacious and comfortable with a lot of the extra touches you wouldnt normally expect. We would highly recommend anyone who is looking to visit Amsterdam for work or pleasure."

"Amazing modern hip hotel to stay in Amsterdam. We loved how modern this hotel was with all the amenities. So useful to have free laundry services! The room was spacious and clean! Very close to the metro station to get into center of Amsterdam. Great customer service and would definitely stay here again!"
