"It's too bad the hotel was in such bad shape! We were looking forward to some rest and relaxation. The Onsen main bath was closed due to maintenance so men and women had to take turns using the other bath. Asking about nearby restaurants for dinner because hotel's dinner was only available with reservations, front desk clerk clearly told us there were only izakayas, bars, available nearby. There was a wonderful hotel restaurant around the corner for dinner that included access to the onset...

"The room is amazing, the staff is very helpful and welcoming. The open air hot spring is nice and quieter than i thought. I literally enjoyed the open air hot spring with no one else. The breakfast was amazing! "

"We had a lovely time at Sekoen. Everyone there is very professional. Their smiling faces really light the the days of guests. The meals are very delicious and they are very thoughtful to include local delicacy in their dishes. I am especially impressed with the way they serve the breakfast and dinner. "Good location with 5-8min walk from bus terminal. The unit is compact with all amenities inlcuding a small kitchen, full size fridge and washing machine. Condition of cooking utensil is excellent. Very efficient communication with the host. The only down side is that the heating is not very efficient. I stayed in a not-so-cold day (10 degrees), it still take hours to warm up the room, to an extent that i dont feel freezing, but still I need to put on my sweater to keep myself warm."

Wow! Impressive hotel from top to bottom!

"I have never experienced a class hotel as the Blossom Kumamoto before! From staff to facility, perfect! I have been in 5 star hotel before and the Blossom rates as one of the tops. I will definitely be staying here again when passing through Kumamoto. I just left and wished I could have stayed longer to enjoy the onsen. In fact, we are at a ryokan right now and should have stayed at the Blossom!"
