"After booking and paying in full the hosts went off grid, not only would they not respond to us, but Vrbo couldn’t get hold of them either. We were left with 3 children and a baby with nowhere to stay, 4 hours away from home. Avoid this host at all costs. Vrbo were equally unhelpful in resolving the matter, telling us to sort our own arrangements out for ourselves (at 5pm!). An incredibly stressful time, would absolutely not recommend these hosts, or Vrbo as a booking platform."

"Before arriving the house caretakers emailed explaining that the shower roller was broken, and the landing lights were not working. An issue as the top of the stairs are tricky with a stair gate and cut away step outside the bathroom. We were supplied with battery operated lights to remedy this. We arrived to find a bottle of Prosecco, milk, tea and crisps which was really nice. The decor was contemporary, beds comfortable, and generally a pleasant environment. Only complaints are that there...

"Booked this home while visiting my son at university.Communication with the host was excellent, prompt and courteous. Was given all information upfront, and in writing… And any issues were immediately addressed. The house was extremely clean, on a quiet residential street with practically no noise. Less than a 10 minute walk to the university, and approximately a 10 minute walk into town… For shopping, dining, and sightseeing. Well equipped kitchen, full-size refrigerator…and washing machine...

Close to the city centre, a short bus ride away but if you're feeling up to it you could walk in. The area is quiet.The house was warm and had everything we needed for a weeks stay.Large supermarket a short drive away and smaller shops in walking distance.Any queries were answered promptly.We would definitely return."
