"We were notified about the pool closure. We called to cancel, and they told us that we could use the pool at the Hampton Inn instead. We were so grateful! Most hotels don’t have a solution for pool closures, and when traveling with kids, pools are a big deal! "

"Common areas, restaurant, bar area and sleeping rooms all were clean and updated. Staff were all very attentive and helpful. Bathroom in sleeping room was very small and had only two sets of towels. Housekeeping came in daily to refresh, but if you had showered in the morning and had a long sweaty day, you'd have no clean towels to use. Parking was convenient, close by and free."

"We enjoyed three nights here with our son and dog. This house was spotless and had everything we needed! The kitchen was well appointed and we were able to cook all of our meals at home. The fire-pit was a lovely touch and we enjoyed it with s’mores on our last night there. Our son also enjoyed the old school video game console while we relaxed in the evenings. My only gripe is that it is about a 30 minute drive to Hocking Hills, but it wouldn’t prevent me from staying here again because we loved the place so much. As a side note, we did end up buying some bottled water because the well water was hard to drink. However, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!"

"We came here for a girls’ weekend and it was perfect. Enough room to spread out, a fully stocked kitchen, beautiful view of the water, and a super close proximity to Athens and OU. Would definitely recommend! "

"We were in town for a 2 day volleyball tournament. We booked this place because it was reasonably priced and only 10 minutes from Gallipolis and 20 minutes from The Root gym. The only thing that could have been better was warmer weather to sit out on the deck. The cabin was beautiful on the inside, perfect for our quick stay and the beds were super cozy. The hostess and her family are absolutely the sweetest and our homemade breakfast that they delivered was delicious!! We will stay here again next time we are in town!"
