"We dont really have a complaint ... just a couple of comments. When we stayed it was a glorious day with record temperatures and the blossoms in the trees where in full bloom. Everything was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. Comments We had what i thought on entry was a compact room due to size, i attended reception and asked if i could pay extra for a standard and was told we were in a standard already - it did seem small. SO ... we paid for an upgrade to a Junior Suit, it cost £40 extra but to be fair it was fabulous. The bar closed at 10:30 on a hot spring evening with plenty of guests still looking to enjoy the weather and sit outside or in the bar. Breakfast finishes at 930 which i think is early for a location that has a more "mature" clientele. Checkout is 10:00am which again i think is early. Most hotels are 11:00am with an option to noon. Finally - the lift is scary ... i know its old. I get it. So am i but the lift creaks more than i do. As i started with not complaints .. just comments. Overall the stay was great and we are already looking to come back in the summer. "

"Friendly staff and very helpful, food was adequate. Bed was very uncomfortable, woke up with lots of aches and pains, also extractor fan was not working in bathroom, this was pointed out to staff. Also we found that the lighting was very poor, particularly when trying to apply makeup, a small lighted mirror in the bathroom would help."

"It was booked for a client, she said the showers were amazing, buffet breakfast was really nice and it was very clean. Food needed a bit more zip to the evening meal, and was shocked to be paying parking, as was I. biggest problem was travellers rolling suitcases at 2 am, I will use again but I'll ask for end of coridor room"

"We've stayed here before and it's quite convenient for Stafford show ground. It's a budget pub/hotel, but it's great value and the staffs are lovely. Becca is really excellent and has befriended a few off the older locals and helps them along with advice and a chat. It's not posh, but then it's very cheap. We'll be going back 👍"

"I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The entire place was extremely clean and well maintained — there was no unpleasant smell at all, and even the carpet looked fresh and new. Breakfast was also quite nice. Although the variety wasn’t huge, the croissants were delicious. I also appreciated that they offered takeaway cups, so I could grab a coffee before heading out — a very thoughtful touch. Overall, I was really satisfied with the experience and would happily recommend this hotel to others."
