"Location excellent, staff were lovely and very helpful, pool area great, beach beds shaded under coconut palms. Sea had a lot of weed but still fine for swimming. Food was good and they set up the dinner dining area in different locations including twice on the beach which was magical. "

"Is a basic beachhut set up. Basic huts set a few mins walk back from beach. Cheap and good option. Rooms are basic and functional but low end as to be expected at this price. Lively bar, more of a independent traveller vibe than many Zanzibar resorts. Food in restaurant was quite fine."

The reception staff couldn't provude clear taxi fares and we had to haggle, meaning we were paying different amounts to go to the same town. Some fares were clearly much more than they should gave been. The accommodation was fine and the beach is only a 3 minute walk away. There are very few hawkers on this beach compared to Paje. It woukd have been nice if they had occasional entertainment as other places nearby clearly...
