"Having stayed there before I was pleased that I knew the area and felt very safe as an older woman on her own. Some areas need a makeover, the sun beds could easily have a good clean and would be serviceable and the room needs a good deep clean especially the bathroom, not just an everyday lick!"

"It’s a 3 star no more no less. Room was clean but could have been cleaner. Food was fine - standard AI in Spain. I did feel on arrival that the woman on the desk could have smiled and been more helpful. What let’s this place down is the other guests making a noise at all times if the day and night - shouting in the echoing corridors at 3am and for what when on for hours. Also should have been dealt with by the hotel but wasn’t "

"Hello I am writing to share a recent 1/5 star experience that I believe should be actioned on, as my boyfriend and I did not receive the service we paid to receive. In short, and bullet points: · We didn't stay at the hotel we paid for · The place was dirty with sand everywhere on the floor when we arrived. Several days passed before fixing, even though the cleaning staff did enter the room to "clean" on more than one occasion, but they just changed the towels, made the bed, and left. · ...

"My stay at Hostal Talamanca was okay. The washroom had hair all over it so I am not giving full stars for cleanliness although it was overall - good for what you pay for. "This hotel is located on a small street in Calonge. Even though there is a lot of traffic going by, you do not hear or see anything from them. It has been renovated and is quaint, cozy, clean, the staff is very cordial and helpful, and provides adults with everything they need to enjoy a stay in Mallorca. The hotel does provide a parking lot for your rented cars, but there is also possibilities to park near the hotel. "

"Can Ferrereta was an excellent hotel. If you are looking for a (reasonably priced) 5-star hotel this is a great place. The staff were EXTREMELY attentive and kind. "Quiet charming rural spot with self contained one bedroom villas / rooms, great breakfast, a good sized swimming pool, helpful and efficient staff and overall a rustic stay in a vast land covered with olive trees. Our room could do with some fresh air when we entered but it was spotless clean, just a bit too much scented cleaning material but that’s nitpicking. We couldn’t ask for more. Instructions to enter the property and rooms are very clear. Maria Antonia was very helpful. "

"What an incredibly beautiful hotel!! The staff would go above and beyond. The hotel room was stunning and smelt amazing… in fact the entire hotel smells amazing! Bars and restaurants in walking distance. Breakfast buffet had great options and you could order eggs and crepes too. We had a lovely long weekend and can’t wait to return again sometime. "

"We felt very much at home here. The service was lovely and the accommodations were cozy and comfy. It was tough leaving because we felt right at home. Love this place and recommend to anyone!! "We came to Son Mas last year for six nights, half-board and rebooked immediately after we left. Boutique high-quality hotels in the country is absolutely our thing and this lovely Son Mas Hotel Rural does not disappoint. From the stunning tranquility of the infinity pool overlooking open countryside to our beautiful suite with a private terrace it is just the most wonderful place to stay. If you do go half-board, make sure you don’t have a big lunch."

8 days of bliss

"Stayed at robinsons for 8 days on a work trip, very welcoming on arrival and during the whole of my stay. Fod was amazing, a great selection a meat, pasta seafood and vegan meals, the deserts were fantastic. My only gripe was the room was a little dated and my marble sink had a huge crack from front to back. But what made up for the sink was the shower....OMG the water pressure was amazing. "

"A lovely quiet adults only hotel. Beautiful room that was kept immaculately clean. We didn’t have a chance to use the swimming pool area or restaurant outside of breakfast time, but it looked clean and inviting. Our room was in the main block, we did note that had we been over the road in the rooms facing onto the road it wouldn’t have been as nice - the balconies for those rooms face right onto the road. Breakfast great with a huge selection of food and drink choices. Whilst parking is free there is literally room for about 4/5 cars just round the corner from the hotel, we weren’t ever able to use those spaces but there is a quiet side street just behind the hotel that we used. Wouldn’t recommend Cala D’Or at all (super surprised to find it was not at all like we expected, really poor dining options, overcrowded beaches, full of kids fair rides and bouncy castles) but this hotel is a perfect choice if you are needing to be in the area. "
