"This is a very unique and once in a lifetime place to stay. It is a 10-15 minute walk along the cliffs above the sea to reach the historic cottage. It is definitely a bit rustic, but an authentic experience. We visited the towns of Cinque Terre which were very touristy and it was a relief to return to this isolated location with amazing views. "Apartment was perfectly located in old Monterosso. This village was the best for us. Very coean. Great vibe. Church bells ringing was lovely. We visited the convent, hit the beach and ate great meals. Apartment owners were phenomenal and accommodating. Apartment was easy to find and tucked into the perfect alley with multiple little cafes. Shopping was wonderful. Great night sleep with little outside traffic. No negative side to this apartment. Will absolutely return."

"The stairs leading to the apartment are very steep and narrow, this should have been in the description. The washing machine did not work and when we contacted the host for help, he never responded. Also, kitchen supplies were not available (washing cloth and drying cloth)"
