"We had an excellent time at this unique property. The views and location were amazing. It was a short walk to the old town part of Monterosso for groceries, restaurants, or shopping. Also, I would highly recommend the hike to Vernazza, but don’t forget to bring the hiking poles that the property provided."

"The view of the ocean was stunning, the gardens were lush and peaceful and away from the crowds, but only a 8 min walk into town, we could cook and eat out easily. It also had parking!There is a winding staircase to the bedrooms but it was fine for us! Loved staying there and Luigi was a wonderful host!"

"Beautiful spot to stay and explore that part of Italy. Winding road to get there but worth it. Very comfortable furniture throughout and well maintained. We didn’t cook meals, but the kitchen was well stocked. Just telling friends that you stayed in a castle built in the 1400’s is worth it. "

"This rental was breathtaking! We traveled to Cinque Terre via train to Monterosso and the rental was located just a few minutes from there. The climb to the rental is no joke but absolutely worth it!! We felt like we were staying in a mansion/castle on the cliffs. "Margherita's apartment has a beautiful coastal feel, and view off the balcony could not be any better. The apartment is the best equipped of any VRBO we have stayed at in any country. Margherita is a delight and very responsive. Monterosso is the village to stay in Cinque Terre and then visit the other villages from this home base.
