"We were super impressed with our stay at the Iguazu Grand. I was a bit concerned as I had read some poor reviews from some people complaining about various things. We arrived after a weeks stay in a 5 star hotel on Copacabana (well known global brand) but we have to say this was far superior in every sense. "The Gran Melia is a beautiful hotel. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast excellent, the staff very pleasant, the pool is amazing. But what makes it outstanding is the ability to visit the Argentine falls as often as you want and for as long as you want, taking a break in the middle of the day. We thought it was well worth the cost."

"Wonderful location for Igazu Falls on the Brazil side. The concierge organised private transfer for us to visit the Argentina side. Relaxing and comfortable stay. Games room, sauna and spa facilities as well as outdoor pool. Breakfast was wonderful, lots of selection. The dinner options are very limited and mediocre, limited bar menu or a buffet style dining experience are all that’s offered and we found this a little disappointing given this is a 5 star hotel.
