"The location was awesome. Beautiful being on the river. Host was very helpful and made our kayaking experience fun. We enjoyed fishing even without success. Beds were comfy, may need new pillows on some. Very interesting furnishings. A bit of a museum, which we enjoyed. Could use a minimizing of things, but we loved the space and would definitely do it again. A lot of history here.💕"

"Came up together to ski, relax, and visit. Cabrefea was nice and close. The house was spacious and full of things to do for our group of 11. Will come back again in any season. House is clean and interesting. "

"Peaceful, the river is close and viewed out of every window. The hot tub was hot and ready; my dog and I had a wonderful long weekend, hiked the trails, enjoyed the snow, even made it to Sleeping Bear. Great location and just a short drive to trails, Traverse City, and all the surrounding areas. If you stay in winter, a 4 wheel drive is a must, the driveway access is not for the faint of heart. "This house is in a perfect central location and has tons of charm. The house was extremely clean and the bed was comfortable. Only reason this was not a 5 star stay, is due to the driveway not being plowed when we arrived. The property manager responded right away, however the driveway did not get plowed until the following day. Otherwise our stay was wonderful! "
