For any dog owners there are 2 dogs next door. Because of some stronger winds, we didn't end up using the firepit. We 100% plan to stay here again. "

The kitchen is stocked with all the dishes and cookware you will need. We enjoyed the record player. "Great stay for mom and adult son visiting with family in the Houghton Lake area. Our bedrooms were well divided, so one of us staying up late wasn’t disruptive to the other. The suite was spotless, the beds comfortable and the towels soft. Strong WiFi signal. Very quiet location, yet close to town."

"For our purposes this cabin worked out perfectly. Went up for a weekend with friends, didn’t want to spend a ton of time at the cabin other than Sleeping and cooking with our pontoon with us. Cabin was clean, ice cold AC, and “steaming” hot water. Ken was responsive in the only message I had to send him. Only recommendation is if you have a boat or a pontoon, probably best to pay $5 and launch near the marina, 2 minutes away; the launch on the canal is a bit shallow if you have a longer trailer....
