"There was a distinct lack of mirrors. Apart from the bathroom there was only one small mirror in the kitchen area hung so hi we couldn't look into it. Not ideal when there are 4 people trying to get ready for a function. Not a huge issue but also an easy fix. Also the property is definitely showing its age. But it is still a place I would stay at again. Great location."

"A bit run down and in need of some updating. The beds are really hard, the parking is difficult with very little space, wardrobe doors that don't stay closed, and there is no soap dish in the shower! Lots of paint scrapes on the walls & milk wasn't replenished all weekend. The place just needs a bit of money put towards better presentation, especially given the area it's in. "

"We felt really comfortable here because the owner/managers were helpful, welcoming, lovely people. The hotel looks old and stylish and it is refurbished to a high standard. We chose a room with a jacuzzi bath which was great. It’s situated near the main road but we didn’t find it loud inside our room. Facilities for food prep were useful and we made our own breakfast and light lunch. There are great cafes and restaurants very nearby too, great quality and budget prices. There is a good shopping...
