"The staff at the bar was super friendly and went out of her way to help with travel arrangements into the City. The food was really good and good value too. Room was clean and big size, and it was great as a change from the same old Travellodge experience. "

"Bonsall is a lovely quiet backwater village. Have wanted to spend time here for a while. The Fountain B & B fitted the bill perfectly. Excellent on all counts. The full English breakfast was particularly splendid. Owner really friendly and helpful. Have booked to stay again in a couple of weeks time. Would highly recommend. "

"We have a lovely stay at the Kedleston house while attending a wedding near by. Room was nicely spacious and clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was cooked on order and the portions were quite generous. Ample parking on the way. To the usual old country home style the rooms were heated quite warm, which created a nice cosy environment against the british autumn weather outside. "Very comfortable stay, spacious and clean room. Plenty of towels, coffee, tea etc. Shared kitchen and lounge area which we didn’t use this time but could be useful. Very good breakfast and, because we were lucky enough to be there when the tea shop was open, very tasty home made lunch too!"

"We enjoyed staying there and it was ideally located to give a break on our journey. It was comfortable and clean in the room and the pub. We were made very welcome and the practical arrangements for room access very easy, though access is via stairs. The food in both evening and morning was delicious, as the local ale too. It was easy to get to this location and very near to tourist and leisure destinations in Derbyshire."

"Stayed here before a track event at Donington and honestly it is one of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed in. Beverley is a wonderful host and from the moment she greeted us was full of advice, and tips to make our stay more comfortable. The bed was so comfortable I crashed out and didn’t stir at all. As others have stated everywhere was immaculately clean. "

"The hotel is very tastefully decorated and modern the staff very helpful and friendly the food excellent and cost was very reasonable. Unfortunately the room we stayed in was right at the front off the hotel it did have modern double glazed windows but they were useless the traffic outside never stopped until after midnight and restarted around 4 am.I am quite a heavy sleeper but this had to be the worst night’s sleep I’ve experienced at a hotel, the bed looked lovely but we couldn’t turn over...

"I stayed at the Leonardo as I was racing at Donington Park. I found the staff to be very friendly, the room was big and clean and had a nice shower and a bath which was welcome after a busy day. The food was good and despite being next to East Midlands Airport the double glazing is so good I was never disturbed by aircraft. "

Great stay

"Greeted with a smile from the receptionist on checking in. She gave us all the relevant information related to our stay; restaurant opening times, leisure facilities and directions to our room. Room was clean and comfortable. Bar area was great, good selection of drinks, food served all afternoon and I presume into the evening too although we ate in the restaurant after 6. All the staff were pleasant and friendly! I would stay here again and hopefully use the pool as we didn’t this time. "
