"Nice and quiet, B&B, great breakfast, great location "

"A spectacular location and the owner operators genuinely care for their guests experience. The property is old and definitely has some items that could use some updating however, everything was functional and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing (favorite was the crustless quiche) and the coffee was perfect as well. Looking forward to my next visit! "

"Very comfortable beds and pillows, amazing rain shower, nespresso machine with plenty of pods, sugars, creamers, complimentary water bottles.. and complimentary s’mores packs! It had a beautiful view of the ocean, and friendly check in guy and staff. "

"Our 4-night stay at the Forest Suite just outside of Mendocino village was wonderful. It was a delightful escape from Silicon Valley, to be able to sit and look /listen/smell the redwood forest from the front deck was truly delightful. Early April meant showers the first day, but glorious sunshine and wildflowers after. A few deer came out of the woods to nibble on the grass below. The cabin was fully stocked and thoughtfully appointed; one of the best VRBO properties we've ever visited. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking a few meals, the bed was extremely comfortable, and linens were top quality and soft. We lost power the first evening (rainy) but only for about 10 minutes. But emergency lighting was available and Jen (the host) contacted us via text to be sure we were OK. Mendocino village is about 5 minutes north of the cabin on Hwy 1. There you will find a grocery store as well as a variety of restaurants, shops and art galleries. Nearby are public forest lands and beaches, so take your pick. Note: the suite is on the second floor of a cabin with well-lit wooden steps, but may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The bottom floor appears to be an art studio, but we saw no activity during our visit."

"The property had a marvelous view and was very clean. I always arrive at any VRBO with a myriad of cleaning supplies. I did not need to clean the house before I felt comfortable.We did speak with the owners about the sofa which is subpar. They realize that it is a problem and are going to replace it. we enjoyed our week and hope to return soon."

"The cottage is perfect for a couple. Nice view of the ocean, and the hot tub was a nice treat. Linda was very nice and offered great recommendations and advice. Would definitely stay again!"

"Beautiful views!! The house was Mendo eclectic which is why I picked this property. Aged home yes but cute in the details. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep, however we did need more seating in the living room with the kitchen chairs. The beds were just adequate, but i do like a softer bed. The dishwasher never worked wich kinda sucked honestly because even the dishes in the cabinets were dirty & i hate washing dishes. Overall it was a great visit seeing my family that lives on the coast & I would definitely recommend this rental even with the slight inconveniences."
