"Everything about the house is fantastic with great views across Lake Como. The hosts, Danielle and Marco were flgreat and greeted us upon arrival. We were very spoilt with a bottle of bubbly and delicious snacks. The house was a little further out of Varenna than we thought, but we love to walk and we think we left fitter than when we arrived. We would definitely recommend staying at El Lavandee."

"The apartment is in a great location, with a lovely view of the lake. It's very convenient for the ferry, and about three minutes' walk to the center of town. (Which is far enough out that you're not disturbed by the church bells.) The furnishings are fairly basic and, as some other reviews note, the bedroom looks out over a main street, so if you're a light sleeper the traffic (and recycling collection in the early morning) may be an issue."

"The medieval tower apartment was absolutely perfect for our little family! We loved the history and charm of Breglia. Lucia is incredibly knowledgeable about the village and the surrounding area, and provides a ton of information that we used to plan our time there.
