"This stay was to be the highlight of our Italian vacation. The breakfast was made to order and delicious, the rooms were large and there were 2 pools. The day spa with thr heated pool was divine. There were some areas that were disappointing. Firstly the beds were very uncomfortable, the mattress was too firm and felt quite thin. The rooftop pool was allegedly "heated" but it was consistently freezing. I chose this hotel for the pool and proximity to the beach, however the pools were too cold....

"Overall the stay was good and relaxing. The beach is not as portrayed, it was grubby and overcrowded, the sea was clean clear water. The food choices at both breakfast and dinner were varied and good, however hot options were never hot at best tepid. The bar was very good, but the music was very loud and not to everyone’s taste; it was difficult to sit quietly and read or hold a conversation. The pool area was excellent and the spa was good . I’d like to give special attention to Marco and Ludovica, who answered my many questions, helped with transportation and set me up with what I feel is the best room at the hotel (105)! The incredible view, 2-door corner balcony and cleanliness of the room made my stay that much more enjoyable. There were many great dining options close by and the expansive, inviting beach was only a 5 minute walk away. Be mindful that in the off-season, local buses are not in service, so transportation to and from this neighborhood will take extra planning. Grazie mille!!! "

"Amazing Masseria set amongst the orchards and groves in the area of Melendugno. The rooms are beautifully decorated and have everything you could need including a kitchenette and outdoor garden seating area. The bed was very comfortable, the shower pressure and temperature were perfect. Breakfast every morning in the common area was lovely with traditional Italian pastries, cheeses, yogourt, fresh fruit and a warm egg dish. Espresso coffees included. The staff were very welcoming and clearly take pride in their property. The grounds are kept immaculately clean and well manicured. The pool area is inviting with multiple cushioned lounge chairs. Bicycles are available onsite for free. The setting is conveniently located to some of the most beautiful sites in Puglia including: Otranto, Torre dell Orso and Lecce. It is also only a couple of kilometres from the small village of Borgagne. We a found large grocery store (Eurospin) in the town of Melendugno (9KM). Note that the property is gated, be sure to connect with the owners ahead of your arrival to ensure smooth entry, once you are checked in they will give you a remote to open the gate. Do not hesitate to book this place you will be happy you did."
