The Day's Away River Front Property on the Guadalupe

"We came to Comfort for a wedding. We enjoyed fishing and relaxinf at the property before and after the event. Very nice and relaxing stay."

"We loved seeing all of the deer walking around in both the backyard and front. We also got to see a wagon full of people that was pulled by horses and several people riding horses as well just passing down the street. I would like to try to come back in the summer when it is a little warmer to hopefully see the river with more water. Thanks so much!!!"

"I don't like saying bad things but the place was not clean. I had to move the couch to sweep up the food, plates, and bugs. I had to also sweep around the windows lots of bugs. The mattress cover on the pull out bed was full of hair and crumbs. I brought my sheets as stated but the previous people must have not done so. Other than that everything else was fine. The kitchen was fully stocked. Plenty of sleeping space. View was magnificent. The BBQ pit came in handy and the fire pit. Everyone...

"Address # is posted at the entrance so there was no problem finding the property even in the dark. This is a secluded home perched above the Sabinal river with views of the hill country. There is a steep rocky incline leading to the house that we knew about but still had us nervous traversing it each time. The property has numerous bird feeders for wildlife viewing! "Newly renovated, very clean, well kept house. Was nice having three bathrooms which is hard to find in Bandera. Handy for us to ride motorcycles through the hill country. "

"My family and I were in Comfort for a wedding. This home is well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay with lovely surroundings. Our grandchildren enjoyed seeing the deer on the property and yet it is conveniently close to town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"

"Quaint little cottage on beautiful property, with shared pool and right across road from Guadalupe River. Loved the wallpapers and carved wooden furniture. Was great to have a comfy holiday home where our dog was welcome. In the mornings we enjoyed sitting on the screened porch with lovely view of nature, or down in the dry creek, before the heat of the day got to us. Check-in was very simple, and we lacked nothing during the stay."

"Enjoyed every minute of our stay! The cottage was very clean, comfy, and cozy! We loved fishing on the river & sitting by the fire pit in the evening.
