That was evident as we are avid anglers. Mt. Airy has all services and supplies one might need plus plenty of places to eat and historical things to do. The cons: Well water with sulfur smell. "Mayberry Memories was an absolute delight. Very well decorated and stocked with probably the best kitchen items I’ve had in a rental. We needed nothing extra. We were able to enjoy hanging out in the living room and around the fire pit catching up. The house is very dog friendly and mine really enjoyed the fenced in back yard. It was a pleasure they don’t have often. Beata was an awesome host staying in contact and offering little perks. Much appreciated! "

"I took a week off from life for a personal retreat. The “Cozy Nest” sure did live up to its name. You can hear a little traffic on the road below, but that proved to be good White Noise for sleeping. The place is adorable and every amenity is available. Probably better outfitted than my home. The beds are incredibly comfortable and everything works perfectly as it should. Definitely remote and a world away, but only nine minutes to downtown Mount Airy.
