"We flew into BZE and drove to Placencia/Maya Beach. We were greeted at Azure Del Mar with a welcome drink and our names on the sign! What a greeting after a long travel day and drive! Dinner was lovely, we got some great recommendations from the staff, and work up to the beautiful peaceful ocean, breakfast, paddleboarding, oat milk lattes (hot or iced!). Although we had many day trips planned, we certainly would come back and simply stay at the property. Everything you need for a beach get a way...

"First the positives:Beautiful location. Great beach. Beautiful pool and deck area. Large rooms. Outstanding staff. Ernesto was awesome, a tireless worker who did an amazing job of keeping the property and grounds immaculate. Chef Salvador was outstanding. His meals were fantastic and very healthy. "Carlos and Lobita who where our daily service providers were fantastic. They went above and beyond in cleaning , accommodating and providing us with anything we needed. The house itself was pretty close to it's listing but with some recommendations in improvement as follows: Pro: great location, Carlos kept the grounds impeccable clean. Amazing. Great pier, great air-conditioning, great views, very private, clean pool amazingly kept that way the whole time. Wifi worked great. TV sizes great ,...
