"We enjoyed our stay in this cute mountain cabin. The views were incredible and it was easy to find. The beds were comfortable, but be warned you need to bring your own sheets and towels, which is not made clear when you book. The floorboards are a little squeaky and there are no comfy chairs outside to sit and admire that gorgeous view from, but apart from that, it was very pleasant. The kitchen is well stocked and the place was immaculately clean. Philippe was a very welcoming host."

"Had a great week, but if you are expecting cafes and things to do apart from cycling and looking at the view there is none. The gite is lovely well stocked though it would have been nice to have a few games like Scrabble available. There is a new house to the left of the gite which the photos in the site do not show at present, and there is no privacy on the terrace from this house . However for us it worked fine. "Nous sommes une grande famille de 14 personnes et avons passé un excellent séjour à Casa Dartos.La maison est très bien équipée et vraiment spacieuse. "I cannot put into words how good our time in Escala was. Graham was absolutely incredible as a host, and the house is impeccable. It’s a perfect getaway for friends and family, in the most scenic picturesque location. The house has everything: a pool, jacuzzi, plenty of common areas, a second house!! It’s honestly one of the best places we have rented as a group, and hope that many others get to experience the place the way we did. Thank you Graham for a marvelous stay!"
