"Jerusalem was quite different this year from previous years. I was at several hostels, it was a rule rather than the exception that there was nobody at the reception when I tried to check in. At this one I had to sneak in and wait for about an hour before anyone came. The place didn't feel like a hostel anymore. There were very few tourists or travelers; the hostel was occupied by guest workers from India, none of them spoke English or Hebrew."

"Since management was about to sell the property and cancelled people’s reservations at the last minute, it was a very depressing place to stay. Services were cut as a consequence and staff could have cared less about the guests.I was relieved when checkout time came."

"Overall it was amazing & I highly recommend this hostel. I was very lucky to have been there 4 nights when I had an entire 4 bunk room to myself. "I did the booking for a room but when I arrived I noticed I was in a shared room with black curtains, so not good a privacy. Power electricity to charge phone depends on how long you keep turned on your own lamp. I had bad roommates who decided to turn off the lights for all the room and the air conditioning temperature.
