"We spent two nights at this comfortable house, and used it as our base for the Tongariro Alpine Crossing. The host, Michael, made everything at his hands to make us feel at home, and provided great advice on weather and the crossing. We are really happy to have staid at his house."

"very comfortable and well-equipped house. Safe for children with good fencing and gates and plenty of space for them to play. They enjoyed the toy box (wanted to watch DVDs but machine didn't seem to work). Kitchen is well-equipped and spacious and washing machine was a boon. Close to river and a nice walk along it to town. Good communication with Allan."
