"The property is situated in a beautiful valley and the host provided guidance for things to see and do around. The gite is specious downstairs and the kids (and dog!) absolutely loved playing with the donkeys and the turtles. We were offered to purchase a home-cooked meal which was generous and tasty. "We had planned a stop enroute to the south of France. It was chosen as a country location that would be quiet. It satisfied that requirement. It was a little difficult to find as TomTom for some reason had it in the middle of Lapalisse. Once that was sorted it was easy."
