"Half house, half museum, we loved Monday Cottage! It is old, but comfortable and full of old-fashioned charm. We stayed five days and still didn't finish checking out all of the fascinating collection of books, records, pictures, ornaments and other miscellanea with which the house is filled. Two BIG pluses for us - it is dog-friendly and just a stone's throw from the lovely Castlecliff Beach. We'll be remembering and talking about this portion of our holiday for a long time to come! "It was a great get away, wood burner and spa pool that we both loved. The only downside was that we had to search round for fire wood and ended up buying some coal. Would be a good idea to have some instructions on the spa and where the fire wood is but it was great, thanks for opening your home to us."

"Beautiful place with lots of additional extra touches including some baked goodies on the bench. It was nice to read how the villa had been renovated by the family. The host was very friendly and welcoming with her messages. We very much enjoyed out stay thank you"

"Was an awesome stay, great location close to park and beach for the kids, comes complimentary with milk and bread which is awesome,was a cozy comfortable unit, plenty of things for family entertainment eg. board games, cards etc Also cool thing is can hang flags up outside, highly recommend to stay when in whanganui, thanks for being a good host Carol, will be back again Pere Whanau"
