"A really great stay, check in was smooth mid afternoon, superior room was fine with a fantastic super king bed and huge bathroom. We had supper in the bar, good food and drinks in a busy pub setting, a nice buzz and big shout out to Lewis and Sam who were so friendly and professional, a great team. Breakfast was really good, again in the bar with plenty of choices cooked to order as well as a small buffet. We will definitely return again!"

Room was very well priced, somewhat dated though (decor, small TV, shower, etc) but clean, comfortable, complementary water/biscuits and a great view. Food was very good indeed, but heavily priced (e.g. £25.95 curry, £18.95 spaghetti Bolognese, £7.50 pint lager, £10.95 continental breakfast) - also watch out for the service charge when settling up. Breakfast good. Parking £7/night and right next to the hotel. There's no phone signal...
