This is seclusion at its best, privacy and tranquility, yet restaurants and shopping only minutes away. Owners thought of everything to make this retreat perfect! Pictures do not do it justice! We did not want to leave!! "

"Although remote, it was worth the drive to find it! So quiet and beautiful among the horse pastures and cornfields. We only used the main level which was perfect for the 3 of us including my 80 year old mother. If you don’t appreciate family history and vintage furnishings, you may be disappointed. It’s like staying at your grandma’s home and was perfect for us. Covered carport was very convenient as it was raining when we arrived."

"Very nice property "

"Upon arrival we saw several dogs, a goat and horse in the yard. I called the owner and he came out the back. He said those animals would stay in the front yard so we’d have to enter and exit through the back door. My husband and myself walked through and the elderly owner was kind but underprepared. The house smelled like dogs, dogs ran up to us and actually peed on the carpet infront of us. The owner stated his wife had recently passed and he had been trying to clean for weeks. "It was perfectly situated for our son’s December graduation from Wingate University. Host was responsive to my questions and allowed for an earlier check-in. We hosted family who flew in from out of town for the weekend. Such a nice touch to be decorated for the holidays, complete outside lights. We had a small party of about 25 visit Friday evening. "Our stay was more than what we had hoped for. Beautiful studio, spacious, all the comforts of home and more. Location was perfect, our hosts were super nice. Will stay again on a return visit to Charlotte. "
