"Property was full of character, arrived after a long drive to be quickly served dinner, happened to be steak night and food was delicious and a very generous size portion. Room was comfortable and had a great sleep. breakfast was also delicious, scrambled eggs cooked perfectly, not the solid rubbery type found in many establishments. will definitely stay again if in the area. "

"Lovely little pub, We stayed 2 nights. Barry the Barman and the owners etc were all so lovely and accommodating. Our room (twin) was very spacious, the beds very comfortable. Toiletries and towels provided. The breakfast was fantastic. Lovely pub and lovely little town to visit. "

"Excellent cooked breakfast. Nice quiet location. They do have band on at the weekend but not a problem on the second floor. Very helpful staff. No parking nearby but that's the same for type accommodation the town centre."

"Only a bed for the night but very pleasant old pub with friendly helpful service and cosy room, sadly had to leave before breakfast so can’t comment on food but I would book again for a longer stay in future as it’s a beautiful part of the country to explore"
