"A good place to stay for a couple of nights. It’s beautifully refurbished and v clean. Breakfast is nice too. It’s quite a walk into town or the train station, 30 mins or so, but there’s a a v good pizza place just down the road. We arrived mid afternoon which does not fit in with the hotels checking in hours, but after a phone call we were able to get in, much appreciated after a very long drive. "

"Near to the train station, if anyone wants to spend a night or two at La Spezia on a budget this place is hard to beat. Clean and neat, staff is only on property up to 2:00 pm, so if you arrive later than that you must follow the instructions they will send to your Whatsapp. I did, not a big deal, everything was straightforward. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, using it as a base to explore the Cinque Terre. It was nice at the end of the day to be able to come back and relax in a quieter setting. We loved having the balconies where we could watch all the happenings in the area! The room was clean, had a kitchen that even had a dishwasher! Housekeeping came in daily and made the bed and freshened things up, that was an added bonus! "

"We had a fantastic stay at this property - it was perfect for our needs. It was quiet but still very convenient to the train station. Our host Rebecca was absolutely amazing, she helped us in many ways - including recommendations and helping us with which passes to buy to explore the towns. "Margherita's apartment has a beautiful coastal feel, and view off the balcony could not be any better. The apartment is the best equipped of any VRBO we have stayed at in any country. Margherita is a delight and very responsive. Monterosso is the village to stay in Cinque Terre and then visit the other villages from this home base. The restaurants, shops, and more expansive space provides for a less touristy place to stay. We loved every minute! Grazie mille Margherita!!"
