I originally planned to stay somewhere else, but when that resort was fully booked, I landed here instead—and I truly believe everything happens for a reason. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed, safe, and cared for. I met some incredible people who I can’t even call staff—they felt like friends. Michelle, Wilber, King, Kobe, Tanisha—everyone was so kind, and once they found out I was traveling solo, they always checked on me. Michelle even helped me find someone to do my hair! Their warmth made my stay unforgettable. About Hopkins Village: This isn’t just a place to visit; it’s a place to experience. Everyone smiles at you, everyone is kind—just make sure you’re kind back. It’s a humble beachside village full of love, culture, and flavor, and that’s what makes it special. A Few Things to Know: 🔹 No full-length mirror in my room—something to keep in mind if that matters to you. 🔹 The restaurant closes about an hour after check-in (around 4:30 PM), so if you’re arriving late, grab some food beforehand or wait until dinner at 6. Other than that, this stay was exactly what I needed. If you’re looking for a resort where you’re treated like family, where the people truly care, and where you can reconnect with yourself in a beautiful, peaceful setting, this is the place. I'd return in a beat."

"Great home in the middle of the village.House had towels, linens, kitchen tools.Bed was comfortable and amazing cross breeze through the house when you open doors.Did not affect our stay but the knives in the kitchen need to be either sharpened or replaced. Again, not a major deal.Also not a big deal to us but it may matter when looking at this property...no TV in the bedroom. I don't care because the surroundings are good enough for me to look at but some may have an issue with it.Martin, the Manager was there when you needed him but gave you privacy.I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone.
