"My husband, baby, and I, along with another couple and their baby, stayed at this cottage during our trip to Cape Breton. The cottage was more spacious than we expected and fit us well. The kitchen was well equipped and the dining area was great. Our favorite part was the proximity to the beach! Great sand and swimming, and the location made it perfect for running back and forth with kids. This place is a drive away from any amenities, which we knew, but something to take into consideration."

"Nice little cottage. Beach walks with coffee in the morning. Nice fire pit and chairs. Kitchen could use a few more pots pans and gizmos. Spices would be nice too. Overall very good"

"Remote cabin, which was just what we wanted. The place was nice & clean and the beds very cozy. The bathhouse was just outside our cabin and was also spotless and well-kept. We used the shared cookhouse and there was everything there that we needed. It was easy to figure out where to store our things since the hosts have everything well-labelled. "Comfy cozy cottage with an amazing view of the Highlands and Cheticamp River, close to the National park and close to amenities and restaurant. Most importantly, a 2 minute drive from the Aucoin bakery, the very best and must popular spot in Cape Breton! Perfect for a little get away. "

"If you like solitude and nature, Big Intervale will give you that! The property is beautiful and off the beaten path. There are no services nearby so if you’re visiting off season, be sure to gas up and bring your toothbrush and snacks. It’s a good 20-30 minutes on a dirt road to get in or out of the cabins. "This is definately a unique property located minutes from the Englishtown ferry right on the Cabot Trail. The converted container/tiny house had everything we needed for our stay. Luxury towels and linens, beautiful bathroom, kitchen amenities and nice deck with fire place and bbq ready to use with wood and kindling all supplied. Lisa, the property manager was very friendly and helpful before and during our stay. Eco friendly, off the grid place to stay :)"

"The pictures really don't do the place justice. It's such a beautiful cabin with everything you'd need and it's in a beautiful location with mountain views. Everything was clean and felt brand new. "Price was great in the winter. Loved the pool, hot tub and sauna. Hot tub not open everyday but it was on Friday. Dining option was good food but waited quite a while to get food. "
