This was a more rugged suite, compared to what we were used to. It was comfortable, and we were happy to have a working A/C for sleeping. The bed was comfy and clean, however we booked a suite with a sofa bed because we were travelling with 3 adults (which our booking stated). When we arrived, the sofa bed wasn’t equipped with bedding. In hindsight, I should have communicated with the host before our arrival to ensure there was bedding for the sofa bed. We made due with what we could find, but if you book a suite with a sofa bed and plan to use it, I encourage you to send a message ahead of time to make sure there are clean sheets and pillows. Bathroom was mostly clean, but did not have toiletries available. We did enjoy our stay, but we weren’t quite as impressed as we were with our other accommodations along the Cabot Trail. It was a charming, affordable, option.
