"On the website this 'hotel' looked lovely, but when we arrived we discovered that it was in fact a 'hostel' type hotel with the TV in a shared lounge/dining room with only two comfortable chairs. We got to our room through a shared not very clean 'kitchen' with all the other rooms coming off the shared 'kitchen'. It would have been a nightmare if anyone else was staying at the same time, but luckily we were the only ones staying the night (we wonder why?) so we didn't keep bumping into people...

"What a lovely spot. So peaceful with on the sounds of ducks cockerels and donkey’s for a bit of background atmosphere. Located in the French countryside with close local amenities. And most of the place we visited were only 30 mins drive away. Abbevile close with great train links to Paris where we spent a great day and Amiens just over an hour drive Was about 1 hour 30 mins drive to visit the world war 1 memorial sites, well worth the drive. "We had a lovely stay at the Bakery whilst competing in an off-road rally. The gite has all the facilities and equipment you need to make for an enjoyable time away, especially when the log burner is lit! We would highly recommend this gite for families or groups of friends as there’s both communal and private space. We’ll be back!"
